Marlene Dumas "Measuring Your Own Grave" December '08 at the MOMA. This was a gorgeously arranged exhibit full of strong and thought provoking works. Walking through the exhibit on my second pass I was able to gaze longer or less abashedly. I left totally affected and maybe just a little bit haunted.

1890-1918 Egon Scheile, prolific Austrian painter, protege of Gustav Klimt. One of my favorite painters. Such amazing line and expression.
